Welcome to the Slaughter v. Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC Settlement Website

Updates:  On May 4, 2017, the Court granted Final Approval of the Settlement.  On May 15, 2017 a Notice and Claim Form was mailed to Class Members.

If you are African American and worked for Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC (“WFA”) as a Financial Advisor or licensed Financial Advisor Trainee in the United States in the Private Client Group (“PCG”) or the WFA brokerage channel (“Wealth Brokerage Services” or “WBS”) between September 4, 2009 and December 31, 2016, a class action settlement will affect your rights.

The purpose of this website is to inform you about this lawsuit, the certification of the Settlement Class, and the steps you need to take to seek a share in the distribution of the Settlement Fund.  The settlement provides a fund of $35.5 million for a class of African American Financial Advisors (“FAs”) and licensed Financial Advisor Trainees (“FA Trainees”), as well as programmatic relief to increase opportunities for current African American FAs and FA Trainees.

If you are a Settlement Class Member, your legal rights are affected whether you act or not.  Please click here and read the Notice carefully.  For more information, contact Class Counsel or the Claims Administrator listed below.
